Built by people who run businesses.
The people behind Worksauce run businesses, know HR and people experience, know the law, and have lived the practicalities of applying it on the floor. Not a team in a lab behind a screen.
We believe that data should do more than just sit in a dashboard. It should drive decisions, improve operations, and create better experiences for everyone.
Not built in a lab, but on the floor.
A journey of clarity, precision, operational excellence.

2018
On the operations floor
Kate and Rob were working together inside a large business when it had to move its workforce from a collective agreement onto Modern Awards. Even advanced payroll systems couldn’t model those Awards fully or consistently.
-
2019–2022
Closing the gap
Rob built an Award interpretation and compliance calculator in Excel. It grew into a near-complete model and was used to check years of past pay. Independent validation found it materially more accurate than the alternative calculations.

2023
Tested in due diligence
During due diligence for a business acquisition, external accountants endorsed the model’s approach to confirm that no employment compliance risk was carried into the sale.

Late 2023 to today
From spreadsheet to software
Spreadsheets don’t scale. With software engineer Aaron, the team turned the model into code: the Awarditor, which checks every pay period against the Award. Today that work is Worksauce.
The people behind the sauce.
Founders who have run businesses and their people, and an engineer who turned what they learned into software.
Talk to the team.
